CONCERT SERIES The concert series opened on January 26, 2008 and continued with 8 concerts through May 17, 2009. Last year's concert series was a hugh success. 2009 is even bigger and bolder, we have
10 concerts at 7 wonderful locations around the Bay Area
between January and May 2009 with our Encore concert in June. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to benefit
several principal charities: AIDS/Lifecycle and the SF AIDS Foundation,
Healing Waters (Liquid Camp), and Positive Being. Several concerts
will be in collaboration with The The
Young's Peoples Symphony Orchestra and will feature_ performances
by talented young members of the orchestra and also its Board of Directors. The Piedmont Piano Company will be donating a custom handmade Fazioli Grand Piano for the Oakland Piano Concert. The concert series present talented local artists, both professional and non professional-vocalists and instrumentalists, soloists and ensembles-who volunteer their time and talents. They perform across a range of musical styles: classical, gospel and jazz and Broadway songs. Each concert will showcase a Special Guest artist or artists, together with other outstanding local talent. Please follow the above links to find our more about our upcoming performances, performers, sponsors and concert dates.
2009 will be a huge and challenging year with over 300 total performers. A FEW WORDS FROM THE FOUNDERS Join our monthly newsletter mailing list for upcoming concerts and fundraising events. Send request to Valdez Hill
