A FEW WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER
In the BEGINNING, There was an IDEA, then a DREAM, and finally the REALITY.

It is a great pleasure and honor for me to welcome you to our new website. With over 360 Alumni members since 2008, we continue to grow and present many Bay Area artists on our concert series. My deepest thanks to all the performers, sponsors, guest Hosts and volunteers. Giving Concerts presents a number of outstanding musicians from around the Bay Area, professionals, teachers, and talented amateurs, including young artists from the Oakland Youth Orchestra (OYO), the Peninsula Youth Orchestra (PYO) and the Young People's Symphony Orchestra (YPSO). Each of them volunteer their time and talents.

Beyond our continuing collaboration with the Young People’s Symphony Orchestra, We continue our fundraising efforts for the SF AIDS Foundation and Healing Waters, which provides camping and rafting experiences for HIV-positive youth (Liquid Camp). With budget cuts and reduced giving to art organizations, our sponsors and supporters continue to remain loyal and support us each year.
